More relevant enquiries, a website that converts better or control over the whole sales process. We connect measurement to what the business wants to achieve and use the insight to prioritise the next improvement.
All recorded form submissions, including job, service and other enquiries. Phone calls and direct emails are excluded. Submissions are not the same as unique customers or won contracts.
The comparison shows changes after launch. Advertising, demand and other changes can also influence the results.

Strategy, websites, content and advertising.
Percentage traffic growth reported in the original case study. This is a historical result, not a new measurement.
The case study was published in April 2018. Exact measurement dates and the complete calculation basis were not provided.
Together, we choose a small set of measures. Each report should clarify what has changed, where progress has stalled and what to do next.
01
Relevant visibility
Search impressions, clicks and relevant traffic
We track agreed searches, audiences and pages over a defined period. Paid and organic traffic are assessed separately.
What this helps us decide
Are we reaching the people and needs we have chosen to focus on?
02
Enquiries that matter
Relevant enquiries and cost per enquiry
We count sales enquiries after removing spam, tests and duplicates. Costs are assessed for the same period and source.
What this helps us decide
Which offers and channels bring enquiries the business wants to pursue?
03
A website that works
Enquiry or purchase conversion rate
The proportion of measured sessions with at least one confirmed enquiry or purchase. We agree on which actions and visits to count and use the same definition when comparing periods.
What this helps us decide
Where do we lose interest on landing pages, in forms or during checkout?
04
Control over follow-up
Response time, responsibility and progress
We measure the time from receiving an enquiry to the first personal reply, the proportion with an assigned owner and how long cases remain at each stage.
What this helps us decide
Where does progress stall, and who is responsible for addressing it?
05
Profitable customer relationships
Sales conversion, margin and customer value over time
We follow agreed groups of enquiries through to sales. Where the data supports it, we assess customer value using margin, repeat purchases and the cost of follow-up.
What this helps us decide
Which customers and services offer room for better margins?
Before starting, we agree on the baseline, data source, definition and measurement period. We compare like with like and account for seasonality, budgets and changes in tracking.
From measurement to decisions
Find where value is being lost.
More visits without more enquiries may be a reason to examine messaging and landing pages. Many relevant enquiries without sales may point to follow-up, proposals or capacity. When we can follow the process, it becomes easier to decide what to investigate and improve.
Systems should make it possible to see who is responsible, how long a case has been waiting and what happened next. This supports day-to-day control and provides a basis for assessing the profitability of the work.
What accompanies a result claim?
What we delivered and which business the result relates to.
A baseline, measurement period and consistent definitions before and after.
Source, data coverage and any uncertainties.
Other changes, such as budget, seasonality or capacity.
A change following an action does not, by itself, prove that the action explains the whole change. Historical case studies show what was reported at the time. For newer projects, we use figures once the comparison has been checked.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and whether visits lead to enquiries. Google receives technical information about your visit. Form content is not sent to Google.
