About your business
When the collaboration began, PEC had electrical departments in Sandefjord, Tønsberg, Horten and Revetal. Its customers include businesses, the public sector and private households requiring services.
PEC wanted to strengthen its position in the private service market and contacted Færder Marketing in spring 2018.
Challenge: Nobody got in touch through the website
According to PEC, ‘nobody’ contacted them through their websites. They knew they could reach more private customers online but needed a partner who knew how to approach it effectively.
The old websites were outdated and worked poorly on mobile. They had little useful content and few contact points, and were not optimised for Google visibility.
The solution: completely new websites.
The new websites focus on making contact as easy as possible and were developed with mobile visitors in mind. They are also optimised for organic visibility in search engines such as Google.
Without going into the technical details, the websites were built in WordPress as an extensive multisite setup, with a dedicated website for each branch as requested by the business.
- A dedicated map helps customers find their nearest branch.
- Landing pages tailored to the business’s products and services
- A blog with useful content that brings organic traffic to the website
- Contact forms tailored to different products and services

A clearer route from need to contact
Landing pages, local branch information and tailored forms made it easier to find the right contact point on the website.
