Arvemappa brings together family stories, photographs, recipes and practical knowledge. We developed the product and public website as one connected experience. The first version is complete and the first families can get started.
Own venture: Kjetil Fagereng is behind both Færder Marketing and Arvemappa. The service is operated by K28 Invest AS.
Start with something that matters
The starting point is familiar: the story behind a photograph or instructions for closing up the cabin often live with one person. Arvemappa gives families a place to gather this knowledge gradually.
From the first visit to the first contribution
The website explains the service through examples and a demo that requires no account. The product centres on the family, folders and choosing who to share with. The illustrated guide Arve provides explanations and prepared tips.
From a photo to a story, and from a story to sharing
Users can start with a single photograph or story. Collections, family members and practical information give the content context. Sharing is a deliberate choice, with explanations that clarify who the content is intended for.
Content that is useful in its own right
Guides on topics such as questions for grandparents and organising cabin information provide a natural introduction to the service. They are useful even without creating an account. Content, search-friendly structure and product development therefore support each other.
Design across different surfaces
Colours, typography, illustrations and language connect the marketing pages with the family workspace. The demo uses fictional stories, and AI-generated illustrative images are labelled on the website.
A completed first product, with ongoing development
The first version is available to families through a pilot. Building a working product is distinct from demonstrating long-term use. We therefore show what has been built without inventing user or growth figures.
